Requirements

• Education Required - Completion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in diagnostic medical sonography.
• Work Experience Required - 2 years of sonographer experience.
• Required - Maternal Fetal Medicine experience
• Certifications Required - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Advanced certification in area(s) of specialty according to facility need. Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Must live 65+ miles from facility.
• Must not have been employed by any Ochsner facility within the past year.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
