Travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonography - $2,741 per week

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer for a 13‑week assignment in South Hill, Virginia, starting 11/16/2026. The position is full‑time travel, 40 hours per week (9‑hour day shifts), Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a one‑hour lunch. Job ID #38446071; pay package based on 9‑hour shifts and 40 hours/week (tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations and accurately capture diagnostic images.
• Evaluate and analyze ultrasound images for completeness and quality.
• Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients to provide information and reassurance regarding procedures.
• Assist clinicians in interpreting ultrasound findings and follow up as necessary.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound technology program.
• Certification by a recognized professional body (preferred).
• Previous experience in a Maternal Fetal setting (highly desirable).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Schedule

Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with a designated lunch hour from 12:00 PM–1:00 PM. Flexibility may be required based on patient needs. No block schedules are available.

Work Environment

The role is based within Women’s Services, focusing on Maternal Fetal health. You will join a supportive, collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients and families.
