Now hiring Travel Mammography Technologists for full-time, part-time, and contract positions with local travel to St. Augustine, Jacksonville, and Orlando.

About the Role

Precision Imaging Centers is expanding across Northeast Florida and seeking an experienced PRN Mammography Technologist to join our team in Jacksonville. This as-needed position offers flexibility, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work in a calm, patient-centered setting. Schedule

  • Flexible day shifts: Thursday - Saturday, 7 AM - 7 PM
  • Thursday - Saturday, 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM
  • Rotate or opt out of Saturday for both schedules
  • Additional shifts based on business needs

Responsibilities

  • Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality images (70% of role)
  • Perform daily quality control/assurance checks on mammography equipment (10% of role)
  • Complete exam and patient history documentation in RIS system (10% of role)
  • Identify and address scheduling concerns as needed (10% of role)
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked department
  • Collaborate in a respectful, fast-paced team setting
  • Stay compliant with ACR standards and MQSA regulations
  • Uphold the Radiologic Technologist Code of Ethics
  • Take initiative to solve workflow challenges and improve processes

Requirements

  • ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT M)
  • Florida State Radiologic Technologist License
  • MQSA-compliant (Digital & 3D Mammography)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 2 years of mammography experience
  • Experience in stereotactic breast biopsy or willingness to learn preferred
  • Patient-focused, proactive, and team-oriented attitude

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods and assist patients with limited mobility
  • Frequent bending and reaching required for proper positioning
