Travel LTAC Registered Nurse - $2,206 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) in Peoria, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring extended hospital stays due to complex medical conditions.
• Assist with daily activities of living, medication management, and other therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Illinois.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in LTAC or acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Skills

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of LTAC protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in computer skills, including electronic health records (EHR).

Schedule

36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
