About the role
Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN for a position in Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) in New Britain, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring extended hospital stays due to complex medical conditions.
- Assess and document patient needs and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in long-term acute care preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN.
