About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a position in Long Term Care at Grape Tree Medical Hospital in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assist with daily activities of residents as needed.
- Document resident care in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and protocols.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 34 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 12 hours, nights.
