About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Long Term Care (LTC) at Grape Tree Medical Hospital in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Assess and document resident needs and progress.
- Administer medications as prescribed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the unit.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to travel to various locations within the Midwest.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of long-term care practices and protocols.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 37 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
