Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $3,110 per week
Job Summary
This position involves providing compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various diagnoses including dementia, Alzheimers, and other LTC appropriate conditions. The RN will work in a facility with a census of 40 patients, supporting daily patient needs and clinical procedures in a long-term care setting.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska RN license
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term care
- LTC experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with acuchecks, implanted glucose sensors, G-tube feedings, Duopa pumps, IV hydration, phlebotomy, peritoneal dialysis (subcutaneous), respiratory treatments, and wound care.
Additional Information
- Must obtain Alaska Food Worker Certification during orientation; no prior certification needed.
- Must be willing to work at least two major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years).
