Travel Long Term Care Registered Nurse - $2,110 per week

Job Summary

The role involves providing patient care within a skilled nursing unit as part of an acute hospital setting, supporting residents with pulmonary diagnoses requiring oxygen, Alzheimer's, and dementia.

Job Details

• Shift and Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekend and holiday requirements.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association;
• minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or subacute setting;
• California nursing license;
• location in California;
• experience supporting pulmonary diagnoses and dementia patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with subacute or skilled nursing facility environments is preferred.

Additional Information

• The unit operates with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1, and supports stable ventilators and trach care.
• RT support (oxygen therapy/equipment such as Cpap, Bipap, and High-Flow) is available on-site 24/7.
• RN staff are responsible for medication administration, wound care, trach care, and IV care.
• Orientation specific to the unit is provided.
• The dress code requires Navy Blue scrubs for RNs and LPNs, and Forest Green for CNAs.
• The organization allows cancellation of shifts up to four shifts per 13-week assignment.
