About the role
GrapeTree Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Urbandale, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy tasks under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide support during patient transfers and ambulation.
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers.
Requirements
- BLS, AHA preferred
- Current, valid certifications
- Currently listed registry in state of practice
- Minimum 1-2 years of direct care experience
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 years of direct care experience
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and procedures
