About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract in Sullivan, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor patient progress and report to supervising physical therapist
- Document patient care activities and progress
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant License
- BLS via American Heart Association
- State license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a physical therapy assistant program
- Experience in long term care setting preferred
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of long term care protocols and procedures
Pay
Weekly Gross: $1,720.00
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour shift
