Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,510 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 25, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistance under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
• Assist patients with exercises, treatments, and activities of daily living.
• Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

Requirements

• Current certification as a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT).
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Valid California State license as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

• Strong manual therapy skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Pay package is based on 7-hour shifts and 35 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Estimated weekly payments include hourly wages, meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Additional benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance are in addition to the weekly pay.
