Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,510 per week

About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Lancaster, California.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care in a LTC/SNF setting
  • Work 35 hours per week on a 7-hour shift
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in providing treatment to patients
  • Perform tasks such as positioning, transferring, and assisting with activities of daily living
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers

Requirements

  • Current COTA license in good standing
  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passing score on the NCLEX-PN or current BLS certification

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a certified physical therapy assistant program
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of long-term care and skilled nursing facility protocols

Pay

Pay package is based on 7 hour shifts and 35 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

We are looking for a healthcare professional who is ready to provide exceptional patient care in this contract/travel role. Contract/travel assignments are typically 13 weeks, with potential to extend.
