About the role
A travel Long Term Care (LTC) Physical Therapist position is available in Sandwich, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care in a LTC/SNF setting
- Work 40 hours per week on a 8-hour shift
- Assist patients with physical therapy exercises and treatments
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Illinois
- At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Ability to manage stress and handle challenging situations

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
