Travel Long Term Care (LTC) Occupational Therapist - $1,940 per week

About the role

The client in Scott City, Kansas is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract starting ASAP. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care in a long-term care facility setting
• Implement therapeutic interventions to promote independence and quality of life
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and needs
• Document patient progress and outcomes accurately
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Kansas
• At least 1-2 years of recent relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam
• Experience working in long-term care settings preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
