Job Description & Requirements
Specialty: Long Term Acute Care
Discipline: RN
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
- Develop individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
- Provide timely patient information for team conferences.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in the patient rehabilitation program on the assigned unit.
- Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission.
- Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care.
- Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel effectively.
- Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with policies.
- Contribute positively to unit function and team dynamics.
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as requested after training.
- Pursue professional development through continuing education.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- BLS Certification required prior to the first shift.
- ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (CIRH ONLY).
- Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of ICU experience highly desired.

Pay package
The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
