About the role
A day in the life of a Travel Estimating Property Adjuster involves:
- Reviewing and complying with State requirements.
- Traveling to loss sites for thorough inspections.
- Assigning Origin and Cause inspectors or Engineers as needed.
- Collaborating with Subrogation Advocates, Special Investigation Unit Adjusters.
- Accurately estimating damage using Xactimate.
- Adjusting reserves throughout the claim handling process.
- Settling claims promptly and fairly.
- Utilizing advanced video technology for remote collaboration.
- Communicating with customers empathetically.
- Negotiating claim settlements.
- Handling claims, collaborating with vendors, and adjusting to various environments.
- Participating in online meetings and trainings.
- Handling daily tasks with policy holders or internal communications.
Responsibilities

- Customer Service Expert: Caring, empowering, and restoring claims with compassion and clear communication.
- Investigator: Independently investigating property claims and interpreting policies to determine coverage.

Qualifications
Required qualifications include:
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Residence within 50 miles of any major airport.
- Experience writing fire & water damage estimates.
- Previous experience as a property adjuster.
- Proficiency in estimating software like Xactimate.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Maintain Continuing Education Requirements for licensing.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $68,500 to $117,700 annually.
Schedule
The schedule is 10 days on, 4 days off, working 8-12 hours/day, with up to 90% travel out of town. Training is 10 days on, 4 days off, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
