Responsibilities
- Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens using various diagnostic laboratory equipment.
- Prepare patients and collect blood specimens utilizing venipuncture or capillary methods.
- Prepare patients for collection of other specimen types such as urine and stool.
- Review, verify and report patient results.
- Perform, update and/or review Quality Control, Calibrations, and Maintenance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Completion of a medical laboratory technician (MLT) program or equivalent training.
- Certification as MLT (ASCP or AMT) preferred.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
- 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
Benefits
- Full Time, 40 hours a week.
- Varies depending on location. May include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Per diem for travel, housing, meals, and incidentals.
Pay
USD $37.25/Hr.
