Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine MLT laboratory tasks under supervision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Capture, prepare, and process patient or sample data for testing with quality assurance.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Record and report test results promptly, ensuring data integrity in the LIMS.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, documenting calibration and repairs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on targets and pipelines for project success.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment following safety protocols.
  • Monitor workload and ensure on-time completion of tests to meet SLAs.
  • Participate in quality control processes and contribute to root-cause analysis when issues arise.
  • Aid in method development and optimization to improve turnaround times.
  • Identify opportunities for professional development and pursue relevant certifications.
  • Provide clear documentation and assistance to teammates to support shared targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
  • MLT certification or eligibility for certification in the local region.
  • Proficiency with LIMS data entry and test result reporting.
  • Strong adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards (CAP/CLIA/ISO as applicable).
  • Experience performing routine clinical lab tests under supervision with accuracy.
  • Ability to calibrate, operate, and document maintenance of lab equipment.
  • Demonstrated quality control involvement and basic root-cause analysis.
  • Excellent time management to meet SLAs and project pipelines.
  • Openness to ongoing professional development and pursuing relevant certifications.
  • Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional team support.
  • Commitment to safety, cleanroom practices, and on-site workplace organization.
  • Willingness to participate in method development and process optimization.
