Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,560 per week

About the role

This position involves providing specialized care to expectant mothers and newborns in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery unit with diverse patient needs. The role requires collaborative support within a multidisciplinary team and adherence to established clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to expectant mothers and newborns in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Adhere to AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
• Operate and interpret GE OBIX electronic fetal monitoring system
• Participate in float rotation between L&D, postpartum, and mother-baby units
• Potential call responsibilities as required by the unit
• Circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections (preferred)

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in L&D nursing
• Valid nursing licensure
• Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
• Experience with couplet care

• Candidate interview process required
• 24/7 in-house coverage by OB/Neonatologist and Anesthesiologist
• Surgical technologist on team
• No adult telemetry monitoring
