Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,560 per week
Job Summary
Mother/Baby Couple Care Registered Nurse (RN) in Silver City, New Mexico. This position involves providing comprehensive care to maternal and newborn patients, including labor and delivery, nursery, and GYN care. The RN may be floated to other hospital areas as directed by the hospital leadership, maintaining high standards of safety and patient care.
Schedule
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Current New Mexico or multi-state licensure
- Basic Life Support (AHA) required upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) required upon hire
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program required upon hire
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required upon hire
- STABLE certification preferred
- Baby Friendly experience preferred

Additional Information
The RN will serve as a primary caregiver within Maternal Child Health, covering Labor & Delivery, Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and Mother-Baby patients. Experience in Med-Surg and proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic medical record documentation are preferred. Weekend requirement every third weekend.
