Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,560 per week

About the role

Labor and Delivery Nurse in an acute care facility. This role involves providing bedside care in a busy labor and delivery department with a focus on couplet care and OR circulation. The position requires flexibility to float between units, adherence to clinical guidelines, and the ability to manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift (11.5 hours worked)
• Minimum of 34.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care in labor and delivery
• Focus on couplet care and OR circulation
• Float between units as required
• Adhere to AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios and priorities
• Work with fetal monitoring systems (GE and OBIX)
• Manage on-call responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience
• Must be in the state during the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
• Experience with couplet care
• Circulating in OR with patient care skills
