About the role

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) travel assignment in Aurora, Colorado. This position involves providing high-quality patient care in a busy and dynamic obstetrics unit with a focus on labor, delivery, and postpartum care. The role requires clinical expertise in managing labor patients, overseeing C-section recoveries, and participating in OB triage and evaluation, supporting a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Triage and evaluate OB patients
• Manage labor and oversee recovery of vaginal and C-section deliveries
• Manage labor induction with Cervidil, Cytotec, and Pitocin
• Circulate for Cesarean section procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year current acute care labor and delivery RN experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior Meditech experience
• Strong OB triage skills
