Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - $2,385 per week

About the Role

Labor and Delivery Nurse in a healthcare facility located in Grinnell, Iowa. This position involves providing expert care during labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and newborn nursery. The role includes managing active labor and delivery cases, titration of Pitocin, and supporting patients through approximately 19-31 deliveries per month within a busy maternity unit.

Schedule

• Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care during labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and newborn nursery
• Manage active labor and delivery cases
• Titration of Pitocin
• Occasionally assist with float to Med Surg or ICU for med pass or tech cares

Requirements

• 24 months of current labor and delivery experience
• Active Iowa or multistate RN license
• AHA/American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications
• NRP certification
• Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certificate
• EPIC electronic medical record experience
• Experience with labor, delivery, postpartum, and nursery
• Must document Driver's License
• Qualified for orientation dates starting 08/24/2026
• Skills checklist specific to labor and delivery discipline required
• Work history/resume must clearly reflect current labor and delivery experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Postpartum and nursery experience
• Current or recent experience in labor and delivery
• Certifications specific to the discipline listed on the job
