Labor and Delivery Nurse in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery Department at a healthcare facility. The position requires coordinating and assisting with high-risk deliveries and obstetrical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the labor process.

Schedule

• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assist with high-risk deliveries and obstetrical procedures
• Administer blood products, cardioversion, epidural and PCA pump management, and wound care
• Care for patients with diagnoses such as preterm labor and labor complications
• Float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set
• Work in a busy unit with multiple patient rooms and beds, supporting adolescents, infants, and adults
• Prior charge experience required
• Experience with Epic charting system

Requirements

• Valid compact state license
• At least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS certification preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience attending all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
• Knowledge of obstetrical procedures and equipment
