About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 20-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Olney, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, gynecology, nursery patients at Level I and II.
- Provide labor and delivery nursing, postpartum nursing, nursery care, ante-partum nursing.
- Assess patients, supervise staff, orient and train new nurses, perform fetal heart monitoring, vaginal exams, toxolytic agent administration, circulating nurse role, comfort measures, safety reporting, documentation, plan of care development, nursing interventions, departmental competencies.
- Experience with Perigen and EPIC is preferred.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years experience.
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License in state of practice or compact.
- Life Support\Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Life Support\Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
