Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,499 per week

About the role

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. They will be responsible for meeting the obstetrical needs of patients, including COVID positive patients, while adhering to all hospital protocols and maintaining a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for neonates and adults in an LDRP setting.
• Perform assessments, monitor vitals, and administer medications.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care, including cesarean sections when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and breastfeeding support.
• Document all patient interactions and care provided in the Epic charting system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in obstetrics or labor and delivery nursing.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Epic experience strongly preferred.
• Valid RN license with no history of infractions.
• Local candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule is for night shifts, 4x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required and no on-call duty.
