Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,499 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Labor and Delivery. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing exceptional care in a high-demand environment, managing a mix of GYN patients and assisting in labor and delivery services.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in labor and delivery settings, ensuring high standards of nursing practice.
• Monitor fetal hearts and maternal conditions, utilizing intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-focused care.
• Assist in educational initiatives for patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and post-operative care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Must possess an active RN license.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification is required.
• PREFERRED: Experience in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum).

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
