• Location: Newport News, VA
• Setting: Hospital
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 07:00 – 19:00
• Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements

• Epic experience required
• VA license must be in hand
• 2 years of experience in L&D required, and must be most recent experience

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery setting
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor
• Assist with delivery procedures and postpartum care
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum processes
• Document patient information accurately in accordance with hospital policies
