Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,740 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing position for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery in Meridian, Idaho.

Duration: 13 weeks, starting 08/31/2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Care for laboring patients 32 weeks and greater, including elective and medical induction of labor.
• Manage stable antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and well newborns.
• Perform L&D, postpartum, and circulating duties; triage experience strongly preferred.
• Titrate drips as required, primarily Pitocin per protocol, magnesium sulfate, and rarely insulin.
• Use GE Connect electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) system.
• Float to like units within the valley as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Stable (taken at least once), AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• L&D, postpartum, and circulating experience required.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights).
• Maximum of five shifts in a row per hospital policy.
• Weekend and holiday requirements based on unit needs.
• No call or standby requirement.

Additional Information

• Blue scrubs provided on unit.
• Schedule requests outside of approved time off are accommodated when possible.
