About the role

This is a 13-week assignment with night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) on a 4x12-hour schedule. The facility uses Epic for charting and handles 200-300 births per month.

Responsibilities

• Administration of blood & blood products
• Assist with high-risk delivery
• Circulate for C-section
• Manage epidural anesthesia
• Care for high-risk antepartum patients
• Administer insulin drips and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC)
• Manage anticoagulation and antihypertensive therapies
• Perform pain assessment and management
• Recover C-section patients
• Conduct sterile vaginal exams
• Triage obstetrical patients
• Use and calibrate intrauterine pressure catheters (IUPC)
• Manage PCA (IV) usage
• Perform wound assessment and care
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
• Washington state license or Compact License
• Certifications: FHM, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate

Skills

Experience with high-volume labor and delivery units (200-300 births/month) is required.

Pay

$3,211.12 to $3,404.04 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

4x12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) for 13 weeks, starting 08/24/2026.
