About the Role

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be part of a skilled team providing comprehensive care to mothers and their newborns. Your role involves administering medications, performing various procedures, and monitoring patients closely.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood and blood products
• Assist with sterile speculum exams
• Perform APGAR scores
• Circulate for C-sections
• Insert and manage Foley catheters
• Manage hemorrhage and shock situations
• Interpret abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Use epidural anesthesia and other pain management techniques
• Provide wound assessment and care

Requirements

• One year of experience in a hospital setting
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in labor and delivery
