Pay
$3,038 to $3,235 weekly. Pay listed includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
Schedule
- 12-week assignment
- Day shift: 4 × 12-hour shifts (06:00 – 18:30)
- Start date: September 1, 2026

- Administration of blood & blood products
- Antihypertensives
- Bladder distension
- Drawing venous blood
- Episiotomy/incisional care
- Antepartum care
- Anticoagulation therapy
- Antiseizure management
- APGAR scores
- Assist with high-risk delivery
- Assist with vaginal delivery
- Baby nurse (“Baby Catcher”)
- Breastfeeding support/lactation support
- Cesarean section
- Circulate for C-section
- Collect cord samples
- Cord care
- Diabetes mellitus management
- Epidural anesthesia
- Facility births: 100–200 per month
- Foley catheter insertion/management
- Fundus / lochia / perineum care
- HELLP syndrome
- Hemorrhage/shock management
- High-risk antepartum care
- ID/security banding
- Infant / neonatal arrest
- Infant identification
- Labor & delivery (low-risk and high-risk)
- Magnesium sulfate therapy
- Neonatal resuscitation
- Newborn assessment
- Newborn hypoglycemia management
- NST (Non-Stress Tests)
- Opioid administration
- Pitocin (oxytocin) administration
- Postpartum hemorrhage management
- Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia management
- Pregnancy-induced hypertension
- Premature rupture of membranes
- Preterm labor management
- Prostaglandins administration
- Radiant warmers/thermoregulation
- Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- Recover C-section patients
- Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus
- Pain assessment & management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Sterile vaginal exam
- Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring)
- Terbutaline administration
- Thermoregulation
- Triage of obstetrical patients
- Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring
- Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring
- Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration
- Vaginal delivery
- Wound assessment/care
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, FHM certifications
- IN license or Compact License
- Charting system: Cerner
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
