About the Role

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and delivering mothers in a hospital setting. Perform a wide range of clinical duties under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with high-risk deliveries
• Perform sterile procedures
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Assist with postpartum care
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements

• Current Texas license or compact license
• One year of experience as a registered nurse
• Previous charge nurse experience required

Qualifications

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• AWHONN Intermediate certification
