About the Role
This is a travel assignment with the following details:
- Assignment length: 26 weeks
- Shift: Nights, 3x 12-hour shifts (18:00 - 06:30)
- Start date: 09/08/2026

Responsibilities & Skills
As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be expected to perform the following:
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Management of antihypertensives, anticoagulation, and antiseizure therapies
- Epidural anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration
- Foley catheter insertion and management
- Isolation precautions and PPE usage
- Amnioinfusion and sterile vaginal exams (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
- Assistance with high-risk deliveries, vaginal deliveries, and cesarean sections
- Circulating for C-sections and recovery post-C-section
- APGAR scoring and newborn assessments (hypoglycemia, thermoregulation, etc.)
- Breastfeeding/lactation support and car seat education
- Couplet care, cord care, and infant identification/security banding
- Discharge teaching for parents and postpartum hemorrhage management
- Episiotomy/incisional care and wound assessment
- Fundus, lochia, and perineum care
- Magnesium sulfate therapy and Pitocin (oxytocin) administration
- Multiple births and LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) care
- Non-stress tests (NST) and fetal heart rate monitoring (external/internal)
- Intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) placement and calibration
- Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and infusion pump management
- Phototherapy, vaccine administration, and pain assessment/management
- Reflex checks, edema assessment, clonus, and pregnancy-induced hypertension management
- Terbutaline administration and thermoregulation
- Starting and maintaining IVs
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS

Pay
Weekly pay: $2,968 to $3,122 (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).
