• Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
• Assist with vaginal delivery
• Breastfeeding/lactation support
• Collect cord samples
• Drawing venous blood
• Epidural anesthesia management
• Episiotomy/incisional care
• Foley catheter insertion and management
• Forceps/vacuum extraction
• Fundus, lochia, and perineum care
• Hemorrhage and shock management
• High-risk antepartum care
• ID/security banding
• Insulin drips
• Isolation precautions/PPE
• Labor & delivery, LDRP
• Magnesium sulfate therapy
• Non-stress tests (NST) and oxytocin challenge tests (OCT)
• Pain assessment and management

• Discharge teaching to parents

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate
• Licensure: Active MO license or compact license (quick application process, 2 weeks or less)
