Pay
$2,538 to $2,730 weekly. Pay listed above includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

- Night shift: 3x 12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15)

Responsibilities & Skills
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Amnioinfusion
- Antepartum care
- Anticoagulation therapy
- Antihypertensives and antiseizure medication management
- Assist with high-risk delivery
- Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)
- Assist with vaginal delivery
- Breastfeeding/lactation support
- Collect cord samples
- Drawing venous blood
- Epidural anesthesia management
- Episiotomy/incisional care
- Foley catheter insertion and management
- Forceps/vacuum extraction
- Fundus, lochia, and perineum care
- Hemorrhage and shock management
- High-risk antepartum care
- ID/security banding
- Insulin drips
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Labor & delivery, LDRP
- Magnesium sulfate therapy
- Non-stress tests (NST) and oxytocin challenge tests (OCT)
- Pain assessment and management
- Pitocin (oxytocin) administration
- Cord care
- Discharge teaching to parents
- Facility with 100-200 births/month
- Infant identification
- Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC)
- Metabolic screening
- Mother/baby care
- Newborn assessment
- Newborn hypoglycemia management
- Thermoregulation (radiant warmers)
- Prostaglandins administration
- Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
- C-section recovery
- Reflex checks, edema assessment, clonus
- Spiral electrode placement
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Sterile vaginal exams
- Terbutaline administration
- Triage of obstetrical patients
- Use of external fetal monitoring (EFM)
- Use of infusion pumps, drips, and IV monitoring
- Use of internal fetal monitoring
- Intrauterine pressure catheter (IUPC) placement and calibration
- Use of PCA (IV)
- Vaccine administration
- Wound assessment and care
Requirements
- 1 year of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate
- Licensure: Active MO license or compact license (quick application process, 2 weeks or less)
