Travel L&D RN - $1,730 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. Start date: October 5, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM). Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care during labor and delivery.
• Monitor patient vitals and fetal heart rates using electronic fetal monitoring systems.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and other related procedures.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• High‑risk delivery experience is essential.
• NRP and BLS/ALS certifications required.
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.
