About the role

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at a leading healthcare facility in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care. As a part of our labor and delivery unit, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through the childbirth experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to women during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using advanced electronic fetal monitoring systems.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Perform procedures such as D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst.
• Ensure immediate newborn care post-delivery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive maternal care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies is required.
• Certification in Advanced Fetal Monitoring is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
