Travel L&D RN - $1,725 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Asheville, NC. This 13-week travel contract position involves providing high-quality nursing care to women during labor and delivery, primarily focusing on high-risk patients and immediate newborn care. Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (12 hours, nights).

Responsibilities

• Provide care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Provide immediate newborn care as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient education and support throughout the birthing process.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies.
• Certification in Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
• Current RN licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• CPR and ACLS certification.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
