About the role
Take on an urgent travel assignment at WVU Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV! We are seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). In this comprehensive OB unit, you will manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, following AWHONN guidelines.
Schedule
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation includes Christmas Eve or Christmas Day
- On-call requirement: 3 to 4 call shifts per 6-week schedule (30-minute response time)
Responsibilities
- Manage antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care following AWHONN guidelines
- Fetal monitoring and drip titration (Oxytocin, Insulin, Epidural)
- C-section circulating and recovery (experience preferred)
Requirements
- Strong background in L&D care
- Active Basic Fetal Monitoring certification
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Must reside strictly outside a 100-mile radius from the facility
- Unexpired copy of Driver’s License required at submittal
- Any past licensing issues must be disclosed upfront
