Access Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Vascular Access for a 13-week assignment in Salem, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- IV Therapy RN - 36hrs. Days
- Unit Name: IV Therapy
- Brief Unit Description: Achieve and maintain core IV Therapy skills/competencies including peripheral IV insertion, CVAD dressing change, non-tunneled CVAD removal, thrombolytic reconstitution and instillation, access/de-access of implanted ports, PICC line repositioning, and ultrasound-guided IV lines.
- Required Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years
- Required Skill Sets: IV insertion, Ultrasound Guided IVs, PICC line insertion
- Required Education: BSN preferred
- Required Patient Population: Neonatal, infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Required EMR (Charting System) & Equipment: EPIC
- Required Certification: Active MA RN License, AHA BLS
