About the role
TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The role involves operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients
- Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
- Monitor patient during all procedures
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques on patient and operator exposure
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
- BLS, ARRT (VI), ACLS, 2 Years
Skills
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology; ability to operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps; familiarity with radiation protection standards; and strong communication skills are essential.

Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
10 hours, days shift.
