Travel Interventional Technologist I - $3,242 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate equipment such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI machines to assist in diagnostic imaging.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records according to HIPAA guidelines.
• Ensure sterile technique during procedures to minimize infection risk.

Requirements

• Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in performing interventional procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.

Skills

• Familiarity with interventional radiology techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and colleagues.
