Job Details

Aids physicians in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat various conditions.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge and skill in medical imaging principles, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
  • Core knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to specialty imaging procedures.
  • Ability to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to provide care appropriate to age and patient populations served.
  • Knowledge and application of HIPAA guidelines and standards.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete clinical and non-clinical assignments.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
  • Dependability in reporting to work as scheduled.
  • Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
  • Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science (cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI.
  • Completion of a JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.
  • ARRT(RT), RCES or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.

Schedule Information

  • 4x10 hour shifts
  • 40 hours per week
  • On-call clinical coverage outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Additional Details

No travel or trauma required.
