Job Details
Aids physicians in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat various conditions.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge and skill in medical imaging principles, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
- Core knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to specialty imaging procedures.
- Ability to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide care appropriate to age and patient populations served.
- Knowledge and application of HIPAA guidelines and standards.
- Ability to prioritize and complete clinical and non-clinical assignments.
- Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
- Dependability in reporting to work as scheduled.
- Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
- Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science (cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI.
- Completion of a JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.
- ARRT(RT), RCES or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.
Schedule Information
- 4x10 hour shifts
- 40 hours per week
- On-call clinical coverage outside regularly scheduled duty hours on weekdays, weekends, and holidays as assigned.
