About the role
The role involves working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in a busy setting with multiple operating rooms and recovery areas.
Responsibilities
- Scrub, pass supplies, set up and take down of procedure room.
- Work with EPIC and Philips monitors.
- Assist with patient care during procedures.
- Work under the supervision of a Charge RN who does not take patients but covers cases and lunches.
- Participate in 9-hour shifts, 4 days a week, with 7-9 shifts in 6 weeks including weekends and holidays.
- Respond to calls within 30 minutes.
- Specialize in vascular, neuro, drain, and line procedures.
Requirements
- BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
Qualifications
- Experience in interventional radiology technology preferred.
- Knowledge of common interventional radiology procedures such as vascular, neuro, drains, and lines.
Skills
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
