Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,848 per week

About the role

Remede Consulting Group is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 20, 2026 in Charleston, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture necessary images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as directed by the physician.
• Ensure sterile technique during procedures to minimize infection risk.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Requirements

• 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts.
• No weekends, occasional call required.
• Two hours of mandatory continuing education (CB) per week.
• No floating required.
• BLS/CPR certified, CT and/or RVT preferred.
• ARRT and WV State License required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in interventional radiology technology.
• Experience with 40-hour per week, 10-hour shift schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Skills

• Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
