About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Manassas, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit
- Perform image-guided biopsies (US and CT)
- Tumor ablations (cryoablation, RFA, microwave)
- Abscess and fluid drainages
- Spine and pain management procedures
- Kyphoplasty injections
- GYN interventions (uterine ablations/fibroid embolization)
- OB interventions (postpartum bleeds)
- Vascular procedures (balloon angioplasty, stents, thrombectomy)
- Genitourinary procedures (nephrostomy tube placement/exchanges, prostate embolizations)
- Enteral/biliary access (G/GJ tubes and biliary drains)
- GI bleeds
- Venous access and IVC filter placement
- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
- ARRT - RT(R) certification required
- Licenses required if applicable
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
