About the role
The position is for a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist in Torrington, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for a variety of interventional procedures
- Operate imaging equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic images are obtained
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized procedure room
- Follow facility protocols under the direction of the supervising physician and department leadership
Requirements
- ARRT certification
- IR certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and professionalism
- Clear and effective communication with patients and clinical team members
- Quick critical-thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
- Physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and assist in patient positioning
Qualifications

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
