Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,271 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina. The position starts 10/12/2026, requires 40 hours per week on 7‑hour night shifts, and is offered through a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department through technical assistance to the IR team.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts per physician specifications.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, and interpreting/evaluating diagnostic data.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence, providing timely, compassionate, quality care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Pay
