Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,220 per week
About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week position in Kansas City, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Operate the fluoroscopic equipment
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
- Prepare and observe patients undergoing the procedure
- Monitor patient during all procedures
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards
- Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
- 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
- Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
- Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
Qualifications
- ARRT (VI)
- BLS
- 3 Years of experience
Skills
- Knowledge of radiation protection standards
- Understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Knowledge of the McKesson PACS system
Benefits
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
